Christmas baking insanity, pt. 2.

I think I'll take a book and soak in a hot bath for a while now (and hopefully avoid falling asleep and soaking the book in the bath...)... Not as exhausted as I thought I'd be, though. It was rather pleasant.

Does your family actually manage to eat all of these? Or do you give them away as gifts as well? You just seem to have baked so much!

The greatest part is for gifts. Traditionally my grandmother used to distribute the cookies among the family, now, since there isn't much family left, it's mostly for friends, to take along to my or my sister's work-place before Christmas, small Christmas gifts if you need something...

Mmm. What are those chocolate covered ones in the third photo? Can I have the recipe?

They look fancier than they are because of my amazing decoration skills *g*. It's just plain gingerbread, cut into cubes and dipped in chocolate glazing. I can give you the recipe, but the cook-book is at my parents' place so it would have to wait till Wednesday...
