Sorry for all the Christmas/NewYear drama. *is ashamed*

Meme, stolen from davenport_6

1. How old do you wish you were?
Part of me wishes I was 18 again, and could start all over, make it all better, knowing what to avoid, what decisions to make differently, but since I wouldn't have my current experience, I'd probably make the same stupid mistakes all over again.

2. Where were you when 9/11 happened?
I actually remember that - at work. A customer told us, and we couldn't really believe it. After work I went to an electronics store to buy I don't remember what, possibly CDs, and saw the footage on every TV.

3. What do you do when vending machines steal your money?
Maybe press the Return button a couple of times, and then give up.

4. Do you consider yourself kind?
Much as I hate to say it, not particularly. Not especially unkind either, but most of the time I'm just too detached.

5. If you had to get a tattoo, where and what would it be?
If I'd ever been able to decide on the what, I'd probably have one. I very much doubt I'll get one now, though.

6. If you could be fluent in any other language what would it be?
Russian and Turkish.

7. Do you know your neighbors?

8. What do you consider a vacation?
No work, no obligations, at least one week. Possibly, but not necessarily a change of place.

9. Do you follow your horoscope?
I don't even read my horoscope.

10. Would you move for the person you loved?
Probably. Moving within Austria or to Germany wouldn't be a big deal; for a move to a country with a different language I'd have to feel very secure in the relationship, though.

11. Are you touchy feely?
In theory?

12. Do you believe that opposites attract?
To an extent, yes. Whether it works out is a different question, I think.

13. Dream job?
Something more to do with art and expressing myself and less with having to be friendly to all kinds of people and selling them stuff.

14. Favorite channels?
I hardly watch TV any longer.

15. Favorite place to go on a weekend?
Don't have one.

16. Showers or Bath?
I do like a hot bath, but mostly it's just showers.

17. Do you paint your nails?
Not since my NIN fan black nails phase.

18. Do you trust people easily?
If I like them, yes.

19. What are your phobias?
Worms, heights.

20. Do you want kids?
Not particularly. In any case I don't think I should have any, so it's all good.

21. Do you keep a handwritten journal?
Not since my early twenties.

22. Where would you rather be right now?
Somewhere warm.

23. What makes you feel warm and safe?
Warmth and safety? Home.

24. Heavy or light sleep?
Quite heavy.

25. Are you paranoid?
No more than the average person. I think.

26. Are you impatient?
Depends on the situation and my mood.

27. Who can you relate to?
A couple of friends.

28. How do you feel about interracial couples?
That's a bit of an offensive question, really.

29. Have you been burned by love?
Mostly by my tendency to fall in love with people that aren't interested or available.

30. What's your life motto?
Do people actually have those?

31. What's your main ringtone on your mobile?
The one it came with, i.e., a kind of buzzy sound. I hardly ever use it anyway.

32. What were you doing at midnight last night?
Watching Buffy.

33. Who was your last text message from?
Christmas wishes addressed to my sister, who I inherited the phone from. See 31.

34. Whose bed did you sleep in last night?

35. What color shirt are you wearing?
A green one and a violet one, both rather old.

36. Most recent movie you watched?
Ice Age 2 on TV.

37. Name five things you have on you at all times?
Assuming that means whenever I leave the house? Keys, clothes of some sort, contacts, most of the time my bag with my wallet, etc. Actually all the time - braces, although hopefully not for very much longer.

38. What color are your bed sheets?
Right now, blue. I have green ones, too.

39. How much cash do you have on you right now?
None, since I'm sitting at the computer.

40. What is your favorite part of a chicken?

41. What's your favorite town/city?
I rather like it here.

42. I cant wait till:
I've found a new flat. I hate the whole searching and looking at and moving business.

43. Who got you to join LJ?
No one. Deadjournal got a bit too gloomy and gothic for my taste after a while. Plus, livejournal had spellcheck.

44. What did you have for dinner last night?
Instant soup, whole grain bread.

45. How tall are you barefoot?
About 1.65, I don't know exactly.

46. Have you ever smoked crack?
I haven't even smoked a cigarette.

47. Do you own a gun?
Er, no. No.

48. What do you prefer to drink in the morning?
Used to be coffee, now it's mostly just a glass of water.

49. What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex?
*sarcastic laughter* The thought of me luring anyone of whichever sex is kind of ludicrous.

50. Do you have A.D.D.?

51. What time did you wake up today?

52. Current worry?
New flat, new job, changes in my life. Orthodontist appointment, dentist appointment.

53. Current hate?
Myself, mostly. Human stupidity.

54. Favorite place to be?
I don't really have one.

55. Where would you like to travel?
Russia, once I speak the language a little better. Right now, some sunny beach. The UK again, one of these days. Istanbul.

56. Where do you think you'll be in 10 yrs?
I don't know. I'm not sure I want to know.

57. Last thing you ate?

58. What songs do you sing in the shower?
I don't sing in the shower. Or anywhere else.

59. Last person that made you laugh?
B. at work, I guess.

60. Worst injury you've ever had?
I broke my arm when I was four, but I don't remember that. Pouring boiling water just off the stove over myself was pretty unpleasant.

61. Does someone have a crush on you?
Aaand again with the cynical laugher.

Grah, sorry I wasn't there for the Christmas Drama to be my own completely useless self :-) Hope you're feeling a bit better. And, I completely sympathize about the flat-seeking business. I just want to go to sleep one day and wake up somewhere else, all moved. The living together, *that* I'm looking forward to. The other stuff - yuck.

Eh, it's mostly okay again, don't worry - it's kind of the same thing every Christmas. And the current Kältewelle is really getting on my nerves. grr.

In a way I'm almost looking forward to moving, or at least part of me is. It seems like a good occasion to leave things behind, lose something of the stuff that has accumulated over the years...

Thanks! I don't have to move out for another six months, so I have enough time to find something; hopefully something at least a bit nice, too...
