I'm so, so dead. (Will reply to comments - sorry. I do appreciate them!) Something about this month is definitely jinxed - yesterday morning when I was looking forward to a lazy morning off with maybe a trip to H&M for much needed summer trousers I got call from M.'s boyfriend that she collapsed, and could I open the store. Turns out, some time in the afternoon, that she managed to pull something in her ankle where she'd had surgery before and will be on crutches for six weeks. Poor her, obviously, but this essentially means that I'll be in the shop Monday to Saturday, ten to six (or, in the case of Saturday, four) for all that time, because even if she manages to make her way there via public transport from the outskirts of Vienna, what is she going to do on crutches, when she isn't supposed to put weight on her ankle?!

Still no news from my apartment, either. New date for moving is now the May 1st.

I'm starting to tear out my hair here, and I'm already too tired to even continue painting my old shelves. Family Easter tomorrow after work, but at least then I'll get two days off. For the last time in I don't know how long.

Thank you! :) I really won't... it's all so much out of my hands now, the only thing I can do is wait and see what happens.

I am really sorry to hear this. I hate for life to be put on hold for so long in order to cover up for someone else. I grant you it may be an obligation, even a sacred obligation, but nobody has to like it. Here's hoping those six weeks, one, pass by quickly, and two, are not augmented by the usual accumulating crap. There must be a million people in Vienna who could attend to customers and stock just as well as you can, but nobody who can shoot photos. Or, I dare say, belly dance. Seriously, good luck.

Grah. Sorry. That all sucks. *commiserates* I hope the stress subsides as soon as possible.
